The continued spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Canada is understandably the primary focus of the news, our thoughts, and our conversations. The team at Compu-SOLVE wants to ensure you that the health and safety of our employees and clients is a top priority for us. It is important that we continue to provide our clients with the high level of service you have come to expect from Compu-SOLVE. We are aligning with proactive steps taken by other organizations as well as recommendations from many government and health authorities to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees and clients. We are developing contingency plans to ensure we continue to operate our business and deliver our services to you.
For the safety of our employees and clients we have asked staff who are feeling unwell to remain home and have enabled all staff that may be at a higher risk or who need to be at home to care for loved ones to work productively from their remote location. We have heightened our cleaning procedures to ensure our environments are as sanitary as possible and will continue to monitor the outbreak.
Out of an abundance of caution we urge clients to not visit our facilities. Our Midland office remains open by appointment only, however this status may change as the situation dictates. Our full staff are available to serve you via email, phone or through our Managed Services portal (if applicable).
Service requiring our technicians to visit your office will be done in coordination with your established processes that may be in place and will focus on our staff and your staff's safety. All requirements for a site visit will be on a case by case basis and deferred to a later date where possible. This will be coordinated by our Service Manager.
Client meetings will be replaced with telephone or video conferencing where available. All scheduled physical meetings will be suspended until further notice.
As always, remain vigilant. Be aware of scams that are circulating purporting to be from legitimate agencies that may be arriving unexpectedly or via means not necessarily their normal methods (i.e. text message). Bad actors are taking advantage of this unprecedented situation to play on false information and peoples’ fears. Red Cross has just reported fake messages are being sent on their behalf with a link via text messaging. When in doubt check the source directly through their website or direct contact (if possible).
